A rare and interesting necklace by Illias Lalaounis. The 18k yellow gold choker suspending a 2"rock crystal drop was designed as a part of his "Biosymbols" collection. The collection, inspired by the creation of living matter, was produced by Lalaounis in the mid seventies. Pieces were designed not only as jewelry but also intended for use as sculpture. This piece, based on a single spermatizoa, is dramatic, elegant,and cheeky! 4 3/4 "across. Fits most neck sizes.
